German and English summer courses (6-17 years)

Every summer, F+U Academy of Languages Heidelberg offers German and English courses for children and teenagers in international groups: English and German for children and teenagers from 6 to 17 years. Lessons are held by experienced teachers and complemented by exciting and diverse leisure and sports activities, making the junior programme a truly amazing experience!

"Andre spent a wonderful time with you and I want to say thank you for all the help he received during his stay in Heidelberg. He gained a nice and positive impression of Germany. I am sure he wants to come back again and is highly motivated to learn more German. Again thanks for everything and who knows, maybe he will come back soon." - Father of a 15-year-old junior, USA

"My daughter was well pleased with her course, her classmates and most of all her teacher, whom I would like to thank in particular as she was able to teach rather boring topics - such as grammar - in an entertaining way. My daughter wants to return to Heidelberg next year, and I am sure this is also because of her teacher!" - Mother of 15-year-old junior, Spain

"I liked everything very much. All the teachers were very nice, you learn in small groups, and the staff is very friendly. There are WiFi & computers and great leisure activities." - Kevin, 12 years

"I had a lot of fun attending the junior language course at F+U because it wasn't as stressful as in my school. I had a very nice teacher. What I liked best was that my class was international and we could talk about a lot of topics. The leisure activities were always very interesting! And the lunch was sooo delicious." - Steven from Germany, 9 years

Summer holiday language courses for children and young people (6-17 years) in one of Germany’s most beautiful cities!

The language lessons do not focus on teaching grammar; instead, the programme aims to create age-appropriate lessons in which learners are familiarised with the German language and culture. For this reason we also recommend participation in the additional modules. The junior courses take place in our language school at Hauptstr. 1, Darmstädter Hof-Centrum, 3rd floor. Right in the center of Heidelberg! Heidelberg is a beautiful, clean, and safe city!
