General information
Registration fee: € 25
Includes: Placement test, Internet access – three computer rooms equipped with 50 PCs, WLAN – participation certificate,
leisure programme, student ID, organisation of language tandems.
Lesson material for all German courses: Approx. € 35 per 160 TH. The books may be purchased or hired from the Academy.

Public holidays with no lessons 2012:
Epiphany: Friday, 6th January, Good Friday: Friday, 6th April, Easter Monday: Monday, 9th April, Ascension Day: Thursday, 17th May, Whitsun: Monday, 28th May, Corpus Christi: Thursday, 7th June, German Unity Day: Wednesday, 3rd October, All Saints: Thursday, 1st November, Christmas Day: Tuesday, 25th December, Boxing Day: Monday, 26th December.
Lessons missed due to public holidays can be compensated by attending our module or evening courses.
“Holiday”: There is no school holiday, however, all participants can apply for an individual ”holiday”.

Value Added Tax: As an educational institute with charitable status, F+U is exempt from VAT.
Provision guarantee: For all listed courses (in case of only 1 participant registration – hours reduction of 50%).
All tuition fees are per person (unless otherwise specified).
One teaching hour (TH) = 45 minutes.
We evaluate your placement test for German.

Visa applicants:
To be eligible for a language course or study applicant visa, it is necessary to attend an intensive course 20 or 30. If the visa is not issued, upon production of the original invitation and the official letter of rejection, we refund the costs incurred, minus a € 100 administration fee and postage costs. For visa applications we recommend existing German language skills of at least A1 level (CEF). More information.
