Please note: All student residences and apartments offered by F+U are situated in the Rohrbach, south and Old Town districts of Heidelberg. F+U offers over 220 rooms in halls of residence and apartments all year round, but in summer these are often completely booked. In such instances we reserve the right to arrange accommodation in another hall of residence or apartment within the same category. (max. distance to school: 30 minutes using public transport).
Also: Double rooms can be only booked by two students coming together (such as friends, or a couple)

Hall of residence “Concordia”- category I

District: Southern Heidelberg
Distance to school: 2 km (ca. 10 minutes by tram; the stop is 200 m from the accommodation).
Size and furnishings of the rooms: ca. 15 m²; wash basin, bed, desk, chair and cupboard.
Washing machines are provided; WLAN is available free of charge.
Kitchen, WC and shower: Each floor has one kitchen, two showers and two WCs (showers and WCs in one room).
Double room (bunk beds): available; a large private car park is available free of charge.

District: Handschuhsheim

HR VI: One room has its own toilette and shower.

District: Eppelheim

Hall of residence “Viktoria” - category II

District: Rohrbach (400 m from the accommodation to the Heidelberg vineyards).
Distance to school: 5 km (ca. 20 minutes by tram or bus; the stop is ca. 250 m from the accommodation).
Size and furnishing of the rooms: ca. 18 - 22 m²; bed, desk, chair and cupboard.
Kitchen, bathroom: each floor has one bathroom (shower, WC), one kitchen on 1st and 3rd floors.
Washing machines are provided; WLAN is available free of charge.

Hall of residence Schmitt – Category II-III

District: Kirchheim.
Distance to school: 5 km (ca. 20 minutes by tram; the stop is ca. 150 m from the accommodation).
Size and furnishings of the rooms: ca. 15 m²; bed, desk, chair and cupboard.
Shower: Half the rooms (HR. III) have their own showers; the WCs are located on the corridors.
Kitchen: One large, well-equipped kitchen with dining area is available for all residents.
Washing machines are provided; WLAN is available free of charge.

Hall of residence "Turner" - category II-III

District: Rohrbach (400 m from the accommodation to the Heidelberg vineyards).
Distance to the school: 4 km (ca. 15 minutes by tram or bus; the stop is ca. 200 from the accommodation).
Size and furnishing of the rooms: ca. 15 m²; bed, desk, chair and cupboard.
Shower / WC: in the rooms en suite (on every floor there are two rooms which share shower and WC: HR II).
Kitchen: each floor has one kitchen.
Washing machine and tumble dryer are provided in a large laundry room. WLAN is available free of charge.
Double room (bunk beds): available.

Hall of residence “SRH” - category III

District: Wieblingen (400 m from the accommodation to the Neckar).
Distance to school: 3.5 km (ca. 15 minutes by bus; the stop is ca. 500 from the accommodation).
Size and furnishing of the rooms: ca. 15 m²; bed, desk, chair and cupboard.
Kitchen: each floor has one kitchen.
Shower / WC: in the rooms, en suite.
Washing machines are provided; WLAN is not available.
Double room: not available.
We offer accommodation in the “SRH” from July to September only.

Hall of residence “Rohrbach16” - category IV

The residence is approximately a five-minute walk away from the school and the Old Town, and consists of 3 and 4 room flats. Each language student occupies a room; the fully equipped kitchen and the bathroom with WC are shared with the other residents. Washing machines are not available in the building itself; however, there is a large launderette close to the hall of residence. The rooms (about 17 square metres) are furnished with a single bed, desk, chair and cupboard. Some rooms contain cable connection for television. Wireless connection is available.

Hall of residence “Sophie” - category IV-V

District: Centre (close to Bismarckplatz, opposite the school and the F+U Hotel “Bayrischer Hof”).
Distance to school: 160 m (2 minute walk).
Size and furnishing of the rooms: ca. 12 - 25 m²; bed, desk, chair and cupboard; two rooms with terrace and lovely view (HR V).
Kitchen, bathroom: small kitchen, WC and shower.
Washing machine: provided; WLAN is available free of charge.
Double room: available (one double room has bunk beds - HR IV).

Hall of residence “Eichendorff” - category IV, VI

District: Rohrbach
Size and furnishing of the room: ca. 15 m²; bed, desk, chair and closet.
Washing machines are provided; WLAN available free of charge.
WC and shower: each floor has its own shower and toilette.
All rooms share a large kitchen.
Double room: (bunk beds) available.
WH VI: One room has its own kitchen and also a small extra bedroom. The bath is shared with the rest of the floor.

Hall of residence “März” - category IV-VI

District: Old Town (Neckar, castle, university, Old Bridge all nearby)
Size and furnishing of the rooms: ca. 10 - 25 m², room on ground floor with step-free access; bed, desk, chair and cupboard.
HR IV and V: Kitchen and bathroom are shared; HR V has larger rooms than HR IV. HR VI: Kitchen and WC / shower in room.
Washing machines: available; WLAN is available free of charge.
Double room: available (some with bunk beds).

Hall of residence “Villa Mönchhof” - category V - VI

District: Neuenheim; Distance to school: 800 m (5 minutes by tram, the stop is 50 m from the accommodation).
Size and furnishing of the room: ca. 15 m²; bed, desk, chair and closet.
Washing machines are provided; WLAN available free of charge.
WC and shower: Each floor has its own bathroom with shower and toilet. The Villa provides 2 kitchens.

Hall of residence “Apo” - category VI

The residence is situated in the heart of Heidelberg’s Old Town, 200m from the Old Bridge. It takes about 15 minutes on foot or 5 minutes by tram to reach the school. The building contains a number of bedrooms (20-30 square metres), a large shared living room with television, a kitchen and a bathroom with whirlpool and WC. The kitchen is completely equipped with refrigerator, microwave, dishwasher, electric stove, coffee machine, tableware and silverware. All rooms can also be booked as double rooms. Wireless connection is available.

Apartment “Am Rathaus” - category I and II

These large apartments (30-40 square metres) include a generously proportioned kitchenette and a large bathroom or shower. They are fully furnished and the kitchen is completely equipped. Depending on the size of the room, one to four people can share the apartment. The apartments are located in the old centre of the Heidelberg Rohrbach district. It is only a two-minute walk to get to the tram stop, and about 15 minutes by tram to the school. The Heidelberg vineyards are only 350m away from the building. Wireless connection is available.

Apartments “Rohrbach16” - Category I

These apartments are 20-25 square metres, with kitchenette and bathroom or shower. The apartments are fully furnished and the kitchen completely equipped. These apartments are for one person. They are a 5 minute walk away from the school and the Old Town.

Apartments “März” - category I-II

The apartments are located in the Heidelberg Old Town and approximately five minutes’ walk from the school.
These apartments are circa 14-28 square metres, with an ample kitchen-corner, a large bathroom and shower. Every apartment is completely furnished with desk, wardrobe and single bed/double bed or two single beds. The kitchen is fully equipped.
Step-free rooms suitable for residents with disabilities are available on the ground floor. There is also a washing machine and free WLAN.

Single and double rooms in selected private homes. Breakfast and half board can be offered on request

Host family accommodation is divided into three price categories:
Category A: journey time 2 - 30 minutes by public transport (some families live in the immediate vicinity of the school).
Category B: max. journey time 40 minutes.
Category C: max. journey time 50 minutes.

Hotels and guest houses in all price categories are located in the vicinity of the school. The F+U hotel “Bayrischer Hof” *** is situated on Bismarckplatz and is just 200m from the school. We can also arrange for accommodation in the youth hostel.
