General information for all language courses of F+U Academy of Languages

• Registration fee: € 25
  Previous course participants are exempt; group bookings from three people: € 10 per person.
  Includes: Placement test, Internet access – three computer rooms equipped with 50 PCs, WLAN – certificate of participation,leisure programme, student ID card, organisation of language tandems.
• Discounts for long-term bookings are only possible for advance payment in full.
• Lesson times: Monday – Friday: 07:30 – 21:00; Saturday: 10:00 – 16:00; Sunday: 10:00 – 16:00 (on request).
• Lesson time and content can be arranged flexibly with the teacher.
• Cancellation without charge is possible in writing (sprachen@fuu.de) until 24 hours before the start of the lesson.
• Give us a try! The registration fee is waived for the booking of two trial lessons and is payable only from the third teaching hour.
• Our teachers are experienced and are native speakers.
• Make the most of learning a language in an international school: form a language tandem with learners of German from Japan, China, France, Italy, Russia, Brazil, Spain, England, the USA and many more countries.
• School pupil discount: 10 % (up to 20 years of age, valid only for pupils from the Rhine-Main-Neckar region.)
• It is not possible to accumulate discounts and commission for individual lessons.

Public holidays with no lessons 2012: Epiphany: Friday, 6th January, Good Friday: Friday, 6th April, Easter Monday: Monday, 9th April, May Day: Tuesday, 1st May, Ascension Day: Thursday, 17th May, Whitsun: Monday, 28th May, Corpus Christi: Thursday, 7th June, German Unity Day: Wednesday, 3rd October, All Saints: Thursday, 1st November, Christmas Day: Tuesday, 25th December, Boxing Day: Wednesday, 26th December.
Lessons missed due to public holidays can be compensated by attending our module or evening courses.

“Holiday”: There is no school holiday, however, all participants can apply for an individual ”holiday”.

• Value Added Tax: As an educational institute with charitable status, F+U is exempt from VAT.

All tuition fees are per person (unless otherwise specified).
One teaching hour (TH) = 45 minutes.

We teach German as a foreign language throughout the year in 8 different levels, and in summer up to 14 levels. We also teach English, Spanish, French and Italian at 8 levels. Each level consists of about 100 group teaching hours or 50 individual teaching hours.
